Fife had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 17-6 margin over the White River Hornets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fife also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Mallory Geving and Madi Walls made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Geving struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Meanwhile, Walls struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Geving has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks every time she's pitched this season. At bat, Geving scored a run while going 1-for-5, while Walls scored three runs and stole three bases while going 5-for-5.

In other batting news, Fife got a massive performance out of Kamalei Alexander, who scored three runs while going 4-for-6. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Monroe, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-6.

Fife's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for White River, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Fife didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 win vs. Franklin Pierce on the 1st. White River has also already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against Orting on the 1st.
