Volleyball Game Preview: Morrill Lions vs. Crawford Rams

Morrill has gone 8-2 against Crawford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions are taking a road trip to face off against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Morrill will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Perkins County, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Plainsmen on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Crawford hadn't done well against Potter-Dix recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Rams came out on top against the Coyotes by a score of 2-0. The game was the first time the Rams have beaten the Coyotes on their court since September 25, 2021.

Morrill's record now sits at 10-3. As for Crawford, their record is now 9-4.

Morrill took their win against Crawford when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
