Softball Recap: Westover Comes Up Short

Westover fell victim to Pine Forest and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Pine Forest Trojans, falling 16-0. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured 14 losses in a row dating back to last season.

Westover saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydni Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Westover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pine Forest, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Westover has already played their next matchup, a 16-0 loss against Harnett Central on the 11th. As for Pine Forest, they will challenge Western Harnett at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pine Forest is facing Western Harnett at the right time seeing as Western Harnett is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
