Softball Recap: Collinwood Comes Up Short at Home Against Central

Collinwood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Central Wildcats on Monday, falling 13-4. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collinwood will host Hardin County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Wilson at 3:30 p.m.
