Baseball Recap: Osakis Takes a Loss

Osakis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Silverstreaks have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Osakis saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Judd, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Osakis' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eden Valley-Watkins, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osakis will square off against Wadena-Deer Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eden Valley-Watkins, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Holdingford at 4:00 p.m. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
