Basketball Recap: Glidden-Ralston Comes Up Short

Glidden-Ralston lost against Exira-EHK back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Glidden-Ralston Wildcats had to suffer through a 63-29 loss at the hands of the Exira-EHK Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Spartans are ranked 95th).

Glidden-Ralston has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Exira-EHK, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glidden-Ralston has already played their next contest (against River Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Exira-EHK will face off against Ar-We-Va at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
