Baseball Recap: Proviso West Comes Up Short

Proviso West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Glenbard West Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 on Monday.

Proviso West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ramsey Torres, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Proviso West's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Glenbard West, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-17.

While Proviso West had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
