            Volleyball Recap: Pacific Collegiate Pumas vs. Palma Chieftains        
        
		
        
        
            Pacific Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the Palma Chieftains. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Pumas have suffered  since March 14, 2024.
 While Pacific Collegiate was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22,  25-21.
Pacific Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Palma, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.
 Pacific Collegiate will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rancho San Juan at 5:00  p.m.  on April 14. As for Palma, they will take on Christopher at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Palma has won four straight at home, while Christopher won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
