Baseball Recap: Morrison Comes Up Short

Milledgeville hit Morrison with a seven-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs came up short against the Missiles, falling 10-4. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Missiles earlier this season, when they won 10-7.

Kaleb Schroeder made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kamden White, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Morrison and nudges their season record down to 10-9. As for Milledgeville, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.
