Nicolet hasn't had much luck against Divine Savior Holy Angels recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Knights will take on Divine Savior Holy Angels. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Nicolet is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Saturday. They came out on top against Whitefish Bay by a score of  3-1. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.
 Among those leading the charge was   Andrea Krivomazov, who  had 11  digs.
Meanwhile, Divine Savior Holy Angels got the win against Milwaukee Lutheran  on Saturday by a conclusive  3-0.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Divine Savior Holy Angels took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-7,  25-8.
Nicolet better focus on containing  Marley Connor and  Gail Buckner as the pair were huge in Divine Savior Holy Angels' win. Connor  had eight  aces, while  Buckner  had ten  digs and two  aces. Those  eight  aces gave  Connor a new career-high.  Madi Jones also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  dig of the season.
 Divine Savior Holy Angels  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 19  aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  ace total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Nicolet's record now sits at 17-12. As for Divine Savior Holy Angels, their record is now 40-3.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  contest:  Nicolet has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 7.4  aces per game. However, it's not like Divine Savior Holy Angels struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 6.4  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Nicolet couldn't quite get it done against Divine Savior Holy Angels in their previous matchup  back in September of 2018 as they fell  2-0. Can the Knights avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
