Sci-Tech/Springfield Renaissance not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 15, 2024. They blew past the Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers 15-1. The victory continues a trend for the CyberCats in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won five in a row.

Sci-Tech/Springfield Renaissance let Stiven Nuez and Juniel Olivo run wild. Nuez scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Olivo scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Joseph Bell, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The win got Sci-Tech/Springfield Renaissance back to even at 1-1. As for Putnam Vo-Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
