Chase County has gone 9-1 against Kimball recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Both will face off at 5:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played.

Chase County easily dispatched Dundy County-Stratton on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Chase County fell just short of Bridgeport by a score of 44-42 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Kimball had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 70-49 margin over the Fightin' Bulldogs. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Kimball pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Chase County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Chase County was able to grind out a solid victory over Kimball in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 50-42. Will Chase County repeat their success, or does Kimball have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
