Basketball Game Preview: River Oaks Mustangs vs. Riverdale Academy Rebels

River Oaks hasn't had much luck against Riverdale Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The River Oaks Mustangs will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Riverdale Academy Rebels at 3:00 p.m.

River Oaks saw some tournament action on Saturday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Riverdale Academy an easy 55-33 win. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory (which was Riverdale Academy's sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for River Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
