Football Recap: Seaforth Finds Playoff Glory Versus South Brunswick

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Seaforth walked away with it. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the South Brunswick Cougars 29-28. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Hawks were the better team in the second half.

Duncan Parker was his usual excellent self, throwing for 307 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 105 yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Although South Brunswick took the loss, they still got scores from Tyler Johnson, Gregor Brock, and Edward Young.

Seaforth is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points over those games. As for South Brunswick, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Seaforth has already played their next contest, a 49-13 loss against Croatan on the 14th. South Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
