Recap: Johnstown Christian Bluejays vs. Blair County Christian Bobcats
The Johnstown Christian Bluejays had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Blair County Christian by a score of 45-32 on Monday. That looming 45-32 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Johnstown Christian yet this season.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonathan Marucci, who scored ten points along with seven steals. Marucci is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Micaiah Marucci was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Johnstown Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-6. As for Blair County Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Johnstown Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Centre County Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centre County Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Blair County Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Huntingdon Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
