They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Killian 55-9 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Lourdes Academy who now have six in a row.
Lourdes Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luciana Picasso, who scored 12 points. The match was Picasso's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micaela Perez, who scored 12 points.
Lourdes Academy's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Killian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Killian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northwestern at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th. Northwestern and Killian are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
