Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Northeast Dubois couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The Jeeps' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Sam Beck made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Aidan Sheetz, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Northeast Dubois' defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.
