Football Recap: Spur Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Spur were beaten by Ira 61-14. Spur was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ira apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Spur's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ira, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spur will head out to square off against Aspermont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ira, they will venture away from home to face off against Robert Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
