Basketball Recap: Versailles Takes a Loss

Versailles lost against St. John back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Versailles Tigers took a blow against the St. John's Bluejays, falling 81-48. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-19.

Versailles' loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for St. John's, their victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Versailles will face off against Russia at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Russia will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Versailles surely won't give up without a fight. St. John's has already played their next contest (against Lincolnview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
