Softball Recap: Jasper Bulldogs vs. Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears
Jasper extended their losing streak to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 3-21. They lost 15-0 to the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in March.
As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, they pushed their record up to 20-9 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games.
For Little Cypress-Mauriceville's part, Tessa Erickson made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
