Baseball Recap: Beatrice Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Beatrice was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 10-1 to the Bennington Badgers. The Orangemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beatrice saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beau Beavers, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Beatrice's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Bennington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Beatrice will square off against rival Elkhorn at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bennington is set to face off against their familiar foe Burke at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
