Chino Hills topples JSerra 105-74 in first round of California Southern Section Open Division Championships

Chino Hills (Calif.) toppled JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano) 105-74 in the first round of California's Southern Section Open Division Championships on Friday night.

UCLA signee LiAngelo Ball went off for a game-high 33 points while brother LaMelo Ball added 25 with eight assists. Loyola Marymount commit Elizjah Scott also had a monster performance with 21 points and 22 rebounds.

The Huskies, who improved to 28-1 with the victory, utilized a 21-0 run in the second quarter to break the game open.

Defending section, state and national champions, the Huskies have now won 63 of their last 64 games going back to the start of the 2015-16 season.

Chino Hills faces Long Beach Poly in quarterfinal play Tuesday.
