Football Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jefferson County had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-7 to make it five. They were beaten by the Dodge County Indians 51-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 43-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Dodge County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.0 points over those games.

Dodge County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jauriel Bray, who picked up 50 receiving yards and two scores.

Jefferson County has already played their next game, a 14-13 victory against East Laurens on the 23rd. As for Dodge County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-14 loss against Northeast on the 24th.
