Basketball Recap: Leavitt Takes a Loss

Leavitt and Medomak Valley squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Leavitt had to settle for second. They took a 39-24 bruising from the Medomak Valley Panthers. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Leavitt's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Medomak Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Leavitt nor Medomak Valley have any future games scheduled.
