Volleyball Recap: CrossPointe Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against The Campus last Tuesday, CrossPointe Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Cavaliers lost 3-0 to the Lafayette Christian Cougars on Monday. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-16.

CrossPointe Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lafayette Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. CrossPointe Christian Academy will square off against The Forest School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette Christian, they will face off against Troup County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
