Softball Recap: Center Takes a Loss

Center fell victim to Bullard and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-0. The Roughriders have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Center's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Bullard, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Center will head out on the road to take on Palestine at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Center is facing Palestine at the right time seeing as Palestine is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bullard, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bullard Panthers take on Sulphur Springs Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sulphur Springs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Bullard's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
