Basketball Recap: Pinkerton Takes a Loss

If Pinkerton was riding high fresh off their 92-72 takedown of Bishop Guertin last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pinkerton Astros took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manchester Central Little Green. The Astros were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Little Green apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Pinkerton's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Manchester Central, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

Pinkerton will be playing at home against Keene at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keene will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Pinkerton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Manchester Central, they will head out to face off against Bishop Guertin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bishop Guertin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
