Baseball Recap: Perth Amboy Takes a Loss

Perth Amboy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Robbinsville Ravens, falling 12-3.

Perth Amboy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zabdiel Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with one run. That run was Lopez's first of the season.

Perth Amboy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Robbinsville, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perth Amboy will head out to take on Kennedy Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Robbinsville, they will venture away from home to face off against Nottingham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
