Baseball Recap: Splendora Takes a Loss

Splendora suffered their biggest defeat since April 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 9-1 to the Porter Spartans. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Splendora saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Boortz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run. That hit was Boortz's first of the season.

Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Porter, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

While Splendora had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
