With a playoff win on the line, Pollok Central rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Orangefield Bobcats 45-42. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Pollok Central pushed their record up to 23-10 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points over those games. As for Orangefield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-13.

Looking ahead, Pollok Central will square off against Onalaska at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Onalaska's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 25 contests. Orangefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
