Volleyball Game Preview: Dora Falcons vs. Couch Indians

The Dora Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Couch Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dora barely beat Seymour the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Friday. The contest marked the Falcons' most dominant victory of the season.

Dora was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Couch had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bobcats.

Couch took Thayer into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-23, 25-27, 25-22, 15-9.

Dora's win bumped their record up to 5-12-1. As for Couch, their victory bumped their record up to 22-9-1.

Dora came up short against Couch when the teams last played back in August, falling 2-0. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
