Volleyball Recap: Yucaipa Takes a Loss

Yucaipa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Aquinas Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Saturday.

Yucaipa's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Aquinas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

Yucaipa will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Beaumont at 5:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Aquinas, they have already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Citrus Valley on the 29th.
