Gridley is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Las Plumas is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Gridley Bulldogs will take on the Las Plumas Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Gridley's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 games.

In what's become a running theme this season, Gridley gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They really took it to Oroville for the full four quarters, racking up a 84-51 win at home. Gridley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gridley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kiko Castillo, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Castillo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Luis Murillo, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and four steals.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Las Plumas ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 49-45 W over Corning.

Gridley is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Las Plumas, their victory bumped their record up to 18-9.
