After a string of four wins, Orchard Park's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the McQuaid Jesuit Knights, falling 20-9. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 two weeks ago.

Richard Pinkoski was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Zach Bernas also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Orchard Park's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for McQuaid Jesuit, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orchard Park will face off against Hamburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for McQuaid Jesuit, they will challenge Pittsford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
