Baseball Recap: Durango Find Success

Durango extended their postseason success on Saturday against Lewis-Palmer. They came out on top against the Rangers by a score of 13-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

Durango got a massive performance out of Austin Romero, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Duncan Walsh also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Durango kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lewis-Palmer only managed nine hits.

Durango's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Lewis-Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.

Coming up, Durango will challenge Falcon at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Demons surely won't give up without a fight. Lewis-Palmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
