Pendleton County had won five straight games and Chase Owens did his part to make it six on Monday. The Wildcat simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Harman Panthers 72-22 for which the team can thank Owens, who went 9-for-12 on his way to 24 points and four steals. The game was his 12th in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Travis Owens, who posted six points in addition to six steals and five boards. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Harman lost, don't look at Grady Shifflett. Despite the final result, he earned 14 points.

Pendleton County's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Harman, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Pendleton County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-42 victory against Moorefield on the 4th. As for Harman, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-45 win against Lighthouse Christian Academy on the 13th.
