Jefferson scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 80-71 to the Santee Falcons. The Democrats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Santee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Darnell Miller, who posted 20 points. Miller's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Andrew Serrano was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Santee, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-13.

Jefferson has already played their next matchup (against Dr. Maya Angelou Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Santee has already played their next contest, an 81-77 loss against Diego Rivera on the 31st.
