Whittier RVT took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Northeast Metro RVT, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Knights 3-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since September 12, 2024.

Whittier RVT's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. As for Northeast Metro RVT, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.
