Soccer Recap: Midland Valley Takes a Loss

The matchup between Midland Valley and Gray Collegiate Academy on Monday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Midland Valley Mustangs lost 8-0 to the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Midland Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. The victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Midland Valley is taking a road trip to face off against Brookland-Cayce at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will host North Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
