Volleyball Recap: Morrison Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Morrison was the 2-0 winner over Alleman when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers on Monday.

While Morrison ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alleman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Megan Hulke, who had six kills, three digs, and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillian Hennis, who had ten assists and three digs.

Morrison's loss dropped their record down to 10-10-2. As for Alleman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Morrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Fulton on the 30th. As for Alleman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Galesburg on the 30th.
