Ionia had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Alma Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-17.

Logan Thomas paced Ionia's offense, picking up 13 kills. Thomas got some help from Grace Droste and her 22 assists. Amaya Frias controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ionia's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Alma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-8-1.

Ionia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Everett on the 11th. As for Alma, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Louis on the 11th.
