Basketball Recap: Plymouth Extends Winning Streak to Four

Plymouth lost to Concord back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies came out on top against the Concord Minutemen by a score of 41-30. The victory was nothing new for the Pilgrims/Rockies as they're now sitting on four straight.

Concord lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Shiloh Smith, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Emerick, who put up eight points.

Plymouth is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Concord, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plymouth has already played their next game (against South Bend St. Joseph), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Concord will be playing at home against Bethany Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord is facing Bethany Christian at the right time seeing as Bethany Christian is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
