Softball Recap: Truckee Takes a Loss

Truckee fell victim to North Valleys and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 19-0 to the Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wolverines' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Truckee's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for North Valleys, they moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Truckee will square off against Hug at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Valleys, they will take on Wooster at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
