Softball Game Preview: Glendora Tartans vs. Diamond Bar Brahmas

The Glendora Tartans will square off against the Diamond Bar Brahmas at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Glendora is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Glendora will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Ayala, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tartans won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 5-4.

Emma Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Siena Bobadilla, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Diamond Bar's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 16-1 to Bonita.

Diamond Bar now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Glendora, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2-2.

Glendora got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Diamond Bar by a conclusive 21-1 score. Do the Tartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Brahmas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
