Softball Recap: Lyon County Comes Up Short

Lyon County lost against Trigg County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lyons took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Lyons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Courtney Collins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lyon County's loss dropped their record down to 13-16-1. As for Trigg County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Lyon County nor Trigg County have any future games scheduled.
