Carl Albert waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Noble Bears. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since April 7th.

Mason Avery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Carl Albert let Lane Sexton and Davonte Jones run wild. Sexton got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run, while Jones went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Carl Albert pushed their record up to 25-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Noble, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 18-8.
