 The Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers will head out on the road to  take on  the Richland County Tigers at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hutsonville/Palestine is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
 Hutsonville/Palestine can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Monday. They blew past Martinsville 10-0.
  Gracie Alumbaugh and  Addison McNair did most of the damage at the plate:  Alumbaugh  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  McNair  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Izzy Monan, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Richland County didn't have quite enough to beat Newton on Monday and fell  3-2. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Richland County in their matchups with Newton: they've now lost nine in a row.
  Kaiya Seessengood spent all 10.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on ten hits.
 On the hitting side, Richland County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Rylee Bloomer, who  went 1-for-4 with  an  RBI.
 Hutsonville/Palestine is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record  this season. As for Richland County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
 Hutsonville/Palestine came up short against Richland County in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023, falling  7-2. Can Hutsonville/Palestine avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
