Softball Recap: Farina South Central Snags Tenth Victory in Last 13 Games

Mulberry Grove typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Farina South Central proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Aces. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Aces back in March, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Farina South Central is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mulberry Grove, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Farina South Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mulberry Grove, they will square off against Pawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Aces are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
