Softball Game Preview: Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions vs. Sacred Heart Valkyries

The Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions will take on the Sacred Heart Valkyries at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Christian Academy-Louisville managed to slip by Collins the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Christian Academy-Louisville came up short against Collins on Tuesday, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Centurions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart had just enough and edged out Henry County 5-3 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Valkyries.

Emeline Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Isabella Boyd was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadley Dierking, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Christian Academy-Louisville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sacred Heart, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
