Football Recap: Iroquois Gets the Win

Iroquois's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Morgan County Cougars by a score of 20-12.

Iroquois' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Morgan County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iroquois will square off against Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Greendevils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Morgan County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Breathitt County at 7:30 p.m. on October 10. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
